This demo was created using SAS/Graph software.
A custom sas/graph map was created, showing the
room layout of each of the 3 floors, and then 
the resident data was added for each year.  

Mouse over the rooms to see the resident names
in multi-line popup chart tips (if using Internet 
Explorer, Firefox, or other browsers capable of multi-
line text chart tips) or scroll down and see the tabular 
list of residents (if you are using an 'inferior' web 
browser that doesn't support multi-line chart tips :)

Such maps could be a very useful tool for keeping
track of people in dorms, hospitals, office buildings,
jails (ironically similar to dorms ;), campgrounds, 
and any other situation where you want to keep track
of who is in what space.
