This example is the SAS version (gareabar) of a chart shown 
on the 'chartjunk' website.

This example uses the relatively new SAS/Graph 'proc gareabar'.
Gareabar is a little more difficult to use than the standard SAS/Graph 
bar chart, because you must have your data just-so.  I would suggest
starting with a working sample, that's similar to what you want, and
then modifying the data to show your data values (then, if you're 
really bold, modify the variable names to be more applicable to your
own data). 

The new SAS gareabar chart has a lot of potential, but it does not
fully support a lot of the standard SAS-graph-isms yet, so there are
many aspects of the chart you will not be able to control. Be sure
to send feedback to SAS regarding which features you would like 
added first (such as axis statement support, and server-side 
device=gif support, hint-hint)!
